Shouan Zhoobin Riahi, the founder and legal director of Yara Legal Services, has over 10 years of experience litigating complex immigration cases before EOIR, USCIS, and the BIA. While Shouan specializes in removal defense and other forms of humanitarian relief, he is experienced in many other aspects of immigration law. Prior to founding Yara Legal Services, Shouan spent his entire career working in the non-profit sector and brings that “people over profits” ideology to his private practice. To that end, Shouan understands that the outcome of an immigration case can mean the difference between life and death and treats every single case with the care and attention that it deserves. In his spare time Shouan enjoys playing soccer, cooking, exercising, and traveling with his wife Elaheh and his daughter Nour. Shouan speaks English, Spanish, and Farsi.
